The ever-charming actor and funny man Edu Manzano who is currently known in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as President Lucas Cabrera, graced Magandang Buhay a tour around his artistically cozy house in San Juan!
Momshies Melai Cantiveros, Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal explored Edu’s home, wherein his interest in art is undeniable, with different kinds of artworks created by different artists filling every corner. Edu had painted art pieces when he was younger but wasn’t able to pursue that interest. Thus, he shared that buying artworks was his own way of enlivening his passion and likewise supporting Filipino artists.
Aside from the many beautiful paintings and sculptures in Edu’s house, the framed blanket and military uniform stands out from all the displays. As per Edu’s story, the items belonged to his late father who served as a soldier back then.
Another stand out from all the artworks is the ‘silver spoon chair’. Literally a chair made out of silver spoons, Edu shared that he bought this amazing artwork from an exquisite painter who explored the unconventional.
Edu also shared that he’s very hands on and admits that he is “super OC” when it comes to his house. He showed the momshies his favorite place in his home, calling it a “man cave” and said that all the other men should be able to have something like this in their homes. In his “man cave” are some fitness equipment, a massage chair, an office corner and a mini living room including a sofa and a center table.
Going back to where it all started, Edu shared that he started to live in this home in San Juan ten years ago. He said that the main reason why they bought the house is because it was strategically near to all three different schools where his three children go to before.
Edu proudly revealed that the land originally belonged to a sibling of Francisco “Bobby” Mañosa, one of the national artists in the Philippines. He had since renovated the property.
