In the past three years, Magandang Buhay has made our mornings brighter by delivering uplifting and amusing stories of local celebrities, sharing their hobbies and special recipes, and making us laugh through the hilarious banters among its three gregarious momshie hosts – Jolina Magdangal, Karla Estrada, and Melai Cantiveros.
As their hearty, and at some point funny, conversations allow us to take a glimpse of the genuine, and perhaps unseen, facets of our favorite stars, we’re also able to see who they are as a member of their real families. Most of the time, we’ve seen a lot of guests get surprised by the appearance of a family member as the show invites them over on the show to impart something about their relationship or the unforgettable memories they’ve shared together. However, there are instances when there are families who graced the morning program with (or almost) all the members present, such as those included in this feature.
Theirs might be a ‘modern family’, but Ogie has still managed to keep the rapport between his families with ex-wife Michelle van Eimeren and present wife Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and the two have become the best of friends as time went by.

Now that his firstborn, Leila, is here in the Philippines to pursue a music career, it’s the Asia’s Songbird who stands as her mom. In their guesting on the show last in November 2018, it was indeed obvious how tightly bonded they’ve become based on their gestures and tales. Thus, Ogie was nothing but grateful with how Regine warmly accepted his kids with Michelle, how Leila loves, respects, and listens to her dutiful stepmother, and how they get along really well.

At very young ages, it’s definitely admirable to see kids who are well-behaved and obedient to their parents. So, if you want your children to grow up embodying these qualities, you better consider following the ‘intentional parenting’ method developed by Chesca and Doug Kramer.

Believing that a person’s character begins at home, the couple divulged never getting tired of explaining everything to Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin, and of training them, such as in simply packing their toys and books up after use, while they can still control them. They also told them to memorize their official family quote “You reap what you sow. The things that you do, the choices that you make have certain results”, which reminds them the importance of pondering on their decisions and actions first before doing something.
Since they want to take a full grip of their children’s studies, the fun parents decided to homeschool them. This allows them to spend more time together and have vacations whenever they want.
There’s indeed no doubt that they’re one of the most beautiful families in the local entertainment scene, not only physically, but also with how they are an “outstanding role model for Pinoy families.”
WATCH: Usapang savings with Team Pangilinan
As the whole Team Pangilinan graced the show for the first time in January 2017, we found out how closely knitted they were, especially when they imparted a few of the memorable moments they shared together. But what makes Popshie Anthony and Momshie Maricel prouder of their kids is with how responsible they are in their finances. Each of them is able to contribute monetarily through their respective income generating activities and knows how to budget and save their hard-earned money and allowances.

We seldom see them on-screen together, but when they do, make that moment really special and stirring, just like their appearance on the morning program three years ago. Apart from sharing the secret behind one of the sumptuous specialty dishes of Momshie Sylvia, she and her children Arjo and Ria also disclosed how she meddles with their romantic affairs, saying that she wished their future partners to respect her and their dad and to jive well with their family.

For the first time, three generations of the Padilla clan assembled in a TV show – Lola Eva Cariño, Popshie Rommel Padilla, Daniel Padilla. Besides, it was also one of the rarest opportunities when we’re able to catch the unique and happy family of Rommel, Karla, and DJ. Thus, Momshie Jolina, as well as the Momshie Melai and the studio audiences, couldn’t help but be thrilled and took photos of this momentous event.

She’s grateful that they are very loving and very supportive to each other although most of them are already grown-ups.

Many people already probably know how a doting and hands-on matriarch Dimples is to her family, which is somehow similar to how her character in Kadenang Ginto, Daniela, handles hers.

Since she and her husband Popshie Boyet are both busy with their jobs, some of us are probably curious about how they’re able to keep the passion between them continuously burning. According to her, who also disclosed how they used to have a love-hate relationship in the first seven years of their marriage, couples should never forget why they began and never let small mix-ups to grow and eventually conquer them. There were also instances when they had to celebrate their anniversaries at home with their kids Cali and Alonzo, to which they’re already contented with because what’s more important to them is that they are together.
It has been 21 years since the last time she got pregnant and had to take care of an infant, thus, everything seemed new again to Momshie Pokwang. But thanks to her family and house helpers who assist her in looking out for her adorable little one, Baby Malia.
Having Popshie Lee, who is an American, as a partner, she disclosed that there are moments when they argue regarding how they should discipline Malia. But since they are living here in the Philippines, she insists that he let her do it the Filipino way, sans the painful spanking.

She vowed to protect them at all cost, wishes them to be patient, kind, and loving, and reminds them that they can always run to her and their dad in times of trouble and heartbreaks.
How Ma’am Charo treats her corporate subordinates truly reflects on how her momshie self is at home – never a spoiler and always set boundaries despite harnessing close relationships with her sons, Francis and Martin. She might have a peaceful and pleasant aura but she brought them up via “tough love”, which means not tolerating their misdeeds and passively punishing them when needed.

Despite her busy schedule, considering that she once became the President of ABS-CBN and continues to become one of its key executives at present, she still made sure to take time talking and listening to them and get to know what they feel or think.
While others think of her as intimidating, her kids treat her as their ‘barkada’ yet with limitations.
Looking forward on getting to know more celebrity families in the coming episodes of Magandang Buhay!
