Billy, who was compellingly portrayed by RK Bagatsing, made the delighting confession to its iconic host Charo Santos during the recent MMK Kumustahan, wherein he further explained the world of paranormal and talked about his life after the terrifying experience he had with Lorraine.
Their insightful conversation started off with Billy educating us on the important things that we should know about the paranormal world, which he said requires deep understanding and complete acceptance towards people who possess special abilities like him. He recounted how he used to have a hard time expressing it before because of the snide and derogatory remarks that other people hurled at him, but he just chose to use it as a motivation.
Having background in the medical field, as he used to work in emergency medical service and underwent trainings for basic life support and first-aid, Billy tends to look for science-based answers to paranormal activities also, instead of just seeing those in a spiritual way in order to attain balance.
Even though he’s born with this kind of “gift”, it was only 15 years ago when he finally decided to heed to God’s calling for him to serve other people through his supernatural capabilities and started his spiritual journey. He gradually did it by exploring his “gift” and healing other people as a psychic.
As what we’d seen in the episode, Billy’s special abilities had gotten in the way of his past romantic relationships. Those heartbreaking experiences made him realize that he should not be biased towards his partner as he could read her aura and foresee what could happen in the future, and simply give them the freewill to decide for themselves. And before finally finding the love of his life, those who were able to watch his story know that he had relationship with Lorraine (played by Ryza Cenon), a woman with terrifying supernatural powers who made him so obsessed with her and almost killed him.
He hasn’t talked with him for four years now, after their spine-chilling last encounter. And when asked by Charo what he will likely tell her once their paths will cross again, Billy said that he won’t bring up the past anymore and he’s just going to have a simple kumustahan with her, by telling her how his life has been and what he’s up to at present.
Meanwhile, with regards to his current love life, he revealed that they clicked because they do the same things. It was also her partner who helped him in expanding his knowledge with regards to the spiritual work. Thus, they opened a shop in which they do marketing. They may currently be in a long-distance relationship since she’s based in Singapore, yet there’s still a high level of telepathy between them, as he divulged how they tend to think alike.
Billy also recalled how their connection with each other has been so strong ever since the first time they met via online, which made them feel that they have a relationship in their past lives that only got renewed at present. They seem to know each other so much as their conversation went on, so they eventually became a couple.
Since spiritual healing, which is his current vocation, becomes popular in the country, it has been his advocacy to help people who, like him, goes through depression and anxiety because of the special gifts they have. He wants guide them in exploring it or in expressing their true selves, which they are afraid to do because of their fear of being misjudged as “crazy” or “siraulo”.
Besides, he extends aid to a PWD facility through the savings he got from the income of their shop, as well as giving away food packs to the less fortunate whenever there’s a huge blessing that came to them. He also doesn’t charge patients who seek his help because of alleged kulam or barang. In fact, there are instances that he’s the one who give them monetary assistance if he sees that they are financially-strapped.
