Lara Quigaman returns to "MMK" on Saturday (January 22) in the role of a mother who turned to gambling after her husband cheated on her. 

Growing up in a family where her father was a gambler, Baby (Lara) promised not to marry a man like her dad. She married Dennis (Mon Confiado) and they were blessed with three children. 

They rarely fight throughout their marriage, except when Dennis plays Mahjong. However, her world came crashing down when Dennis cheated on Baby with another woman. Baby rebelled and began playing Mahjong as revenge on her husband.  She developed an addiction and started to neglect her duties as a mother to her children. But her addiction in gambling got worse when she discovered the fun in playing in casinos. There were times that the guards would drag her outside to stop her from playing. She even used their family’s savings and her children’s money to fund her addiction. 

What problems did she encounter as a result of her addiction to gambling? Was she able to free herself from it?
