Kapamilya star Dawn Chang had a fun time looking back on her childhood memories as she answered the “Yes or No” questions on Kapamilya Chat.
One question inspired Dawn to reminisce a funny embarrassing moment when she was a kid. She said she grew up with two moms. Living with her biological mother, she was immersed in a small happy community where kids are encouraged to get dirty and play outside. One of their favorite playgrounds then was the filthy creek near their house where her most embarrassing moment happened.
“Nung bata ako, nahulog ako sa imburnal. ‘Yung bahay ng Nanay ko malapit sa coastal road, so between bahay nila at coastal road, may creek na mahaba. Imburnal ‘yun as in madumi na. Ang ginagawa ng mga tao, to be able to cross that, nilalagyan lang nila ng kahoy.
She was also compelled to look back on her very adventurous life in Australia. She experienced camping for three days, with no chance to change her clothes, thus she’s guilty of having experienced using the same underwear for two days straight. But that was when she was a kid. Now as an adult, Dawn prioritizes hygiene.
She’s also guilty of taking home food from parties, especially when she was an OFW in Hong Kong. “Kapag OFW ka kasi, hangga’t kaya mong magtipid, magtitipid ka. You have to be very smart with your earnings.
And as a ‘matipid’ girl, she had likewise experienced taking home things from hotels, “It’s that sense of ‘dito mo lang ‘to makukuha’ lalo na ‘pag ang mahal mahal ng hotel. I went to a hotel in Bali once tapos sobrang mahal. Inuwi ko talaga lahat ng pwede kong mauwi na shampoo at sabon just because ‘binayaran ko ‘to.’”
When she’s feeling extra happy and lucky, she’d sometimes try the lottery. And she’s won small prices more than twice already here and in Australia.
Asked if she had searched her name on Google, Dawn answered ‘yes.’ Especially when she just got evicted from the Pinoy Big Brother house, the surprising changes were so confusing she had to relearn herself.
Dawn was also asked if she had slept completely naked, had more than ten takes in a scene, and blocked people with indecent proposals on social media.
You’d love her very honest answers in this challenge!
