Pride Month may be commemorated during the month of June every year, but Maalaala Mo Kaya is one with the LGBTQIA+ community in believing that it should be celebrated all-year round, as it opens the month of September with the inspiring and relatable story of a gay couple to be portrayed by Christian Bables and JC de Vera in its upcoming episode this Saturday, September 4.

In its latest social media posts, the long-running drama anthology shared the trailer of the forthcoming episode tagged #MMKSerendipity, as well as some of its behind-the-scene photos. We could really see the chemistry and feel the kilig evoked by the two bankable Kapamilya heartthrobs, who will depict the serendipitous love story of Jay Umali and Iron Guerrero.

Based on the trailer, the two met at the coffeeshop where Iron used to work and Jay was a customer. They seemingly got attracted to one another in an instant and became close friends, until they both agreed to bring their relationship to the next level. Meanwhile, the behind-the-scene snapshots showed that their love for one another has been sealed in a poignant civil ceremony.
