Old School vs Millennial: Rita and Paulo review their generations’ vocab via this fun challenge

Stars of Maalaala Mo Kaya “Prologue of Love” Rita Avila and Paulo Angeles review their generations’ vocabulary in this game called “Millennials VS Classic Acronym/Slang” Challenge.

Paulo impressed in the first rounds featuring boomer twangs. He got the right answers for ‘TBH’ which is an acronym for ‘to be honest’ and ‘GOAT’ meaning ‘greatest of all time.’ With a little help from his brother, he related ‘Karen’ to a woman. It specifically refers to a demanding girl.

Rita and Paulo answered in gay lingo for the phrase ‘spill the tea.’ She said “i-ispluk” while he answered “i-chika.” Both are correct. The players got the right answers for ‘dehins’ meaning no and ‘bebot’ which refers to a girl.

They translated ‘jologs’ as ‘baduy.’ Rita explained that ‘kopong-kopng’ has two possible meanings. It could denote something that happened a long time ago or it could mean ‘to gather.’

Join Rita and Paulo in this fun Kapamilya Chat game. Don’t forget to also watch their portrayal of a couple with 16-year age gap in the part 2 of MMK “Prologue of Love,” directed by Raz Dela Torre, airing on April 17 on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and iWantTFC.
