“Balang araw makakagawa ako ng isang lugar kung saan hindi mahihirap’ yung mga katulad kong gumalaw, kung saan hindi kami kaaawaan at magiging katatawanan.”
In the recent episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya, Enchong Dee portrayed Ven Villanueva the man spreading hope one seed at a time. He was diagnosed with polio at a young age, but this never stopped him from living his life to the fullest. He continued his studies and even earned a scholarship to finish high school. Unfortunately, he faced a second hurdle when his mother died. Ven blamed himself but eventually found strength in his mother’s faith in him. So, he began his mission to inspire PWDs and proved that having a disability doesn’t make one helpless with Sunshine Farm Philippines.
Ven has been confined to a wheelchair for most of his life, but his heart stands taller than anyone. In these photos with his family, Enchong and Charo Santos, he never fails to give an infectious heartwarming smile.
