Yam opens the video with her sleek, elegant look for that day’s work. She’s donning Dana’s trademark fierce orangey makeup (which she had a tutorial for in a separate video and ribbon bun courtesy of her resident hairstylist. The doorbell rings, a signal that she’s about to leave the hotel room for the taping location.
The cast and crew could be seen wearing their facemasks (even smiling under them), maintaining social distancing, and adhering to strict safety protocols.
External scenes are shot first in the morning. The girls, of course, would take advantage of the natural light to create dewy, double-tap-worthy photos! Kim Chiu and Rufa Guttierrez pose with Yam ala top models in a mini pictorial. Sunlight and aesthetic plants and so much girly fun!
To limit the number of people on the set, even the production team acts as on-cam talents. Boisterous laughter and jokes are cracked in between takes. The fearsome kontrabida Eula Valdes makes funny dance moves and poses.
As the shoot schedule ends, everyone goes back to their hotel rooms. Fans (the hotel staff helping Yam bring her clothes in) ask for a photo op but, of course, with social distancing.
Yam receives a care package that includes face sheets, sunblock spray, and food from good friend Ria Atayde’s Korea trip. Ria’s sweet little note bears ILY (I love you) and IMY (I miss you).
Good vibes don’t fade on the next taping day. Yam tries not to act ‘senti’ thinking about their few remaining shooting weeks. She says she’s going to miss everyone on the show.
Another day ends. The best part of locked-in taping and solo staying in the hotel room? Yam devours sponsored seafood dishes she calls as ‘ayuda.’ The lovely Yam takes a little rest and studies her script, gearing up for the next morning’s 7 AM call time and 12-hour taping.
