Born from different mothers and having been raised differently, the Cardinal Brothers had different life stories when they first came to know each other after discovering that they share the same biological father, Don Roman Cardinal (Ronaldo Valdez). With that, we saw how they struggled to get along with each other as brothers. Nevertheless, after all the times that they clashed and even almost put each other’s lives in danger, brotherly love still reigned on their hearts. They learned to accept and love each other as a family as they allowed themselves to be more understanding towards each other.
Even though it is almost impossible to believe that they will be united as a family, the Cardinal Brothers proved that they achieved that kind of harmonious relationship many times in their story. When Lucas (Albie Casiño) went back to the family after he turned his back on them, Isagani (Jake Cuenca), Lorenzo (Joseph Marco) and Connor (Joshua Colet) forgave him because they knew that at one point in their lives, they also needed someone to believe in them. In those times, like their father Don Roman, these Cardinal Brothers believed that all of them could change for the better.
Amid all the problems that kept on pestering their family, the Cardinal Brothers gave their solid support towards each other as they continue to move forward on their personal lives while fighting with each other to keep their family safe and prosperous. As they worked together against the Silverio family who kept on putting their lives in danger, they strived to function well on the family business while also helping each other on their love affairs.
When Isagani needed help, Lorenzo, Connor and Lucas did not hesitate to contribute what they can in his “pamamanhikan” phase before marrying Isay (Maxine Medina). On each other’s love issues, Lorenzo with Diane (Ritz Azul), Connor with Lupita (Mica Javier) and Lucas with Coralyn (Mary Joy Apostol), all of the Cardinal Brothers supported and helped each other prosper. Suring the process, they did not neglected to impart their skills to each other to always be physically prepared to fight for their loved ones.
Looking at how tight the bond of their brotherhood has become, it is indeed impressive to realize how greatly Isagani, Lorenzo, Connor and Lucas were transformed in their journey. Despite the many challenges, they chose to conquer each battle together and stood strong in the end as united brothers.
However, they will never be complete as the Cardinal Brothers without their rebellious brother Matteo (Marco Gumabao). Is it really too late for him to be part of the united Cardinal Brothers? Or will he still be able to find his way towards redemption?
