Viewers nationwide watched the first batch of charming kids show off their extraordinary talents in the hit international kiddie talent-talk show “Little Big Shots,” which premiered to high ratings last weekend.
According to data from Kantar Media, the show garnered a national TV rating of 36% last Saturday (August 10) across urban and rural homes, compared to rival program “Pepito Manaloto: Ang Tunay na Kwento,” which only scored 20.7%.
“Little Big Shots,” which is hosted by Billy Crawford, also scored 36.9% last Sunday (August 13) versus “Hay Bahay!” that only got 14.9%.
Charming viewers and gaining praises online were pole dancer Allyza, fish deboning expert Janice, geography master Klyde, three-year-old charmer Rodzen, hiphop dancer JM, acrobatic duo Andrei and Alfonso, junior archers Basti and Kat, six-year-old kid with six-pack abs Kent, and skateboarder Jayden.
The show’s lineup of kids impressed netizens, including Twitter user @lady_croft143 who said, “So entertaining, funny, and wonderful program! Looking forward to laughs from these unbelievable kids! #LittleBigShotsPH.”
User @gabbyieRech_09 said, “The kids are so excellent!!! And Billy Crawford is super ‘havey’ and funny,” while @just_kim021 commented, “The kids are so good. Grabe. I wish I could go back to my childhood and be one of them,” ayon kay.
@daveericsmiley also praised the show’s Philippine adaptation by saying, “Thank you so much ‘Little Big Shots’ for that great pilot weekend!!! Truly shows how world-class and amazing Pinoy kids are!!!”
