Linlang Juliana-Sylvia-Olivia Confrontation

Juliana (Kim Chiu), cunning and selfish, will stop at nothing to maintain her affair with Alex (JM De Guzman). Sylvia (Kaila Estrada), exuding an air of elegance and sophistication, will fight for her territory. And then there’s Olivia (Heaven Peralejo), the independent spirit who refuses to be silenced.

These women will refuse to back down no matter what happens, serving up viewers of “Linlang: The Teleserye Version” with icy confrontations, which Friday 5 compiled in this video.

Even without uttering a word, Sylvia's gaze ignites like flames capable of scorching her enemies. There was a scene where she revealed that the house where Victor (Paulo Avelino) caught his wife Juliana and Sylvia's husband Alex (JM De Guzman) sneaking a moment is Juliana’s property. After the commotion, she asked for a conversation with Juliana, her husband’s paramour. She didn’t even need to speak to add tension in the air.

It’s followed by a scene where Sylvia visited Juliana and Victor’s new house, and subtly inspected the kitchen. She quietly ran her fingers over the knives, as if she wanted to stab someone. With her natural grace, she stirred Juliana’s curiosity, jealousy, and fear by mentioning that her own home is undergoing renovations as she and Alex are preparing something big and exciting.

Having hunches about Juliana and Alex’s ongoing affair, Sylvia had spicy comments when Juliana got dizzy due to her stressful pregnancy. Sensing her rival’s tone, Juliana low-key insulted Sylvia’s inability to conceive, saying that pregnancy isn’t a new experience to her and that she wishes Sylvia would experience it too. She then invited her to eat the leftovers from her baby shower. Just when Juliana thought she had gained the upper hand, Sylvia flipped the script and delivered an even feistier retort, “Hindi kasi ako katulad ng iba. I don’t eat leftovers.”

The montage also includes one of Juliana’s earliest clashes with Olivia, who is close to Victor. The two had a tension-filled exchange about sacrifices, with Olivia saying that she’s happy to have helped Victor find a job in the hospital where she also works as she sees his dedication to providing for his family. When Juliana insisted that she’s also made sacrifices, Olivia rebutted that love isn’t about tallying sacrifices and is instead about working together.

Of course, we couldn’t leave out that spicy face-off between Juliana and Olivia, where they served up some food innuendos. Juliana labeled Olivia a “sawsawera” for meddling with the chaos around them, only to have Olivia counter with a harsh reality check calling the other woman “escabeche.”
