Recent travels inspire Anne and Angel
As the saying goes, wisdom does come with age.

Two of this generation’s well-renowned Filipino actresses have been enjoying travelling around, whether it may be exploring local destinations like what Angel Locsin has been doing, or be a jetsetter and explore the world like how Anne Curtis plays it.

Throughout their travels, Anne and Angel have learned a thing or two about life, enriched their perception about their surroundings, and in the end, acquired the kind of wisdom that would carry them through. Here are some snippets of what they discovered in their journeys.

1) “Now I know what it feels like to fly.”

Anne is always game for adventures, and the feeling of flying is one way of making the most out of life. In short, one should stand by Carpe Diem, or “Seize the Day” in Latin.

2) “We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.”

Angel is on point here, as travelling makes our lives more colorful than ever, as compared to material possessions. The stories and experiences one gains in traveling enriches his/her life.

3) “Was able to squeeze in a quick run this morning. I think it's one of the best ways to discover and see new places.”

Come to think of it, going for an early jog has two benefits: First, it helps you in staying fit, and second, it helps you discover new things around you while one is on the road. 4

) “What I like about camping is you can get really dirty. Either you're all by yourself, so no one else sees you, or everyone you're with is just as dirty as you are, so nobody cares.”

5) “Even if the locks are removed, syempre, #MayForever pa rin!”

To all the naysayers, there is still forever especially when it comes to love. Just look at the number of celebrity couples who have tied the knot recently as proof.

6) “Jagged cliffs of sand and ash. A must see, but sad to know that these were remnants of a once fertile valley…”

That’s the nice thing about travelling: the things you see on the road, whether by hiking or by car, tells stories about its past. It is like history coming to life.
