Kanye West might have sparked controversy with his bias for Beyonce in the 57th Grammys, but there’s no blaming the hip hop artist for his stylish shoe preference—a design he exclusively made for Adidas.
West has formally unveiled his newest sneaker for the German shoe brand at American music’s grand event.
Named the “Yeezy 750 Boost”, Kanye’s design for Adidas is a departure from his previous “Yeezy” designs from Nike, having a less sporty look and a more high-fashion appearance. The “Yeezy 750 Boost” sports a higher cut compared to previous models
The “Yeezy 750 Boost” is similar with previous Yeezy models with Nike as it retains the forefoot strap (where the Three Stripes logo can be found underneath it). Adidas’ Boost technology is used for the midsole of the “Yeezy 750 boost”.
While there is no official release date, sources point out that there will be two initial colorways. The grey variant is rumored to be selling at $250, while the solar red variant is rumored to be selling at $350.

In addition to debuting his latest sneaker, Kanye also wore an all-red tracksuit, which will be part of his collection for Adidas.
