Here’s our gem of a discovery at Twist Resto and The Clean Plate’s “Open Kitchen: The Best Kept Recipes of the Stars”
: Aiza Seguerra’s wife Liza Diño is not only a multi-awarded performer, but also a talented chef!
The couple have just recently started to venture into the food business with Liza’s signature dish, adobo (the best adobo in the world, according to Aiza) packed up in jars, but their Adobo in a Jar booth was already a huge hit on all three days of the weekend market.
“It was the first dish my uncle taught me. Aiza loved my adobo recipe nung nagliligawan pa lang kami,” says the Le Cordon Bleu of Culinary Arts in Hollywood California-trained chef. The couple wanted everyone to experience their ultimate comfort food so they decided to put up Adobo in A Jar.
The adobo jars come in three sizes: Small (P385), medium (P600), and large (P900); adobo rice meals with salted egg and tomato salsa were also sold at their booth.
Aiza and Liza have an even brighter future ahead, with a restaurant in the works, Adobo Project.
