3 reasons why Idina Menzel’s Manila concert was mind-blowing

If you thought a concert from a legendary Broadway songstress will simply have her enter the stage, belt out, say lines from a script, do a Broadway medley, and sing her most famous song, then leave? Well, it’s definitely not the concert of Idina Menzel at the Mall of Asia Arena last June 7.

In fact, everyone in the audience was blown away by her engaging vibe, incredible persona, and astonishing talent.

What made Idina’s concert a cut above the rest? Here are three big reasons:

1) She sang “Let It Go” in Tagalog (an attempt not even done by Filipinos)

Menzel did made an attempt in translating lyrics of her famous song “Let it Go” in Tagalog, coming up with the translation “Bumitaw, bumitaw. Di ko na maitatago.”
