Ramona eventually became a mother figure to Magda in prison. In a scene, she took care of a sick Magda and the latter was reminded of Lolo Dado (Soliman Cruz)’s love.
Later on, they learned that both of them suffered from the Narcisos’ wickedness. And those cruel experiences served as threads that bind them together. Bent on seeking justice, they agreed to join forces in knocking the Narcisos down.
Now both released from jail, Ramona and Magda took on tiny steps towards the much-awaited war against the Narciso clan. The first move was to compete with the Narcisos’ Royal Wellness. Tapping the owner of the company’s losing competitor, Blue Velvet, served them a big stepping-stone.
Magda got into an accident while fighting against Brian (Josh Ivan Morales), Vanessa (Agot Isidro)’s brother and one of the Narcisos’ loyal henchmen. The accident affected her face, so much Ramona was scared it could create another big scar.
The incident paved the way for Magda’s transformation. Ramona performed cosmetic surgery on Magda’s face and the result was a more beautiful and more confident version of her. The tandem’s winning streak continued as Magda’s newest soap product entered the Salvacion market, making M&R a big threat to Royal Wellness.
