She may be one of the brightest stars of her generation, but that didn’t hinder Sofia Andres from being excited as she embarks on the newest chapter of her life – having her own family with her beloved boyfriend Daniel Miranda!
While Sofia is already known in the industry as one of the talented artists today, many of us surely got curious on who Daniel is. And with just a few clicks on the worldwide web, a slew of articles about him would spring out on our screens.
The 23-year-old car racing champion actually came from an affluent family – his father Martin Miranda is a karter, motocross rider, and drag-racer, while his mother Angelique Lhuillier is an entrepreneur. And if you find his middle name familiar, that’s because his grandparents Philippe Lhuillier and Edna Diago-Lhuillier are the owners of the largest pawnshop chain in the Philippines! Besides, his grandfather is a diplomat, businessman, and philanthropist who also served as the Philippine ambassador to Spain and Italy.
Apparently, Daniel followed his father’s footsteps as he has raced internationally in different countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Macau, and more. In a media interview, he revealed that it started out after he asked his parents if he could try karting when he was still a kid and from there, his racing career kicked off.
Because of his handsome visuals and unmistakable charm, as seen in the photos in this gallery, he undoubtedly captivated a lot of girls. However, there’s only one lady who captured his heart – Sofia, his girlfriend of four years and the doting mother of his firstborn Zoe Natalia – ever since their paths first crossed at a club in Taguig City.
In their first-ever vlog published on their official YouTube channel last July, he related how being a parent has completely changed both of them – from two young individuals who are focused on themselves to becoming young parents who are hands-on in taking good care of their firstborn.
“At such young age, we’re now parents. In just a span of a year, I felt like we’ve matured so much. We have a baby to look after everytime we go home so we’re different people now. We just stay home and watch our baby. Me and Sofia are very blessed to take care of her, we love her,” he said.
Daniel also recounted how living with Sofia in Australia during the course of her pregnancy helped him grow into becoming the family man that he is at present, with the unwavering support of their respective families as well, of course.
“We were there together for six months. It was actually the first time na we were together alone. It’s very, very different, something we’re not used to but we really enjoyed it. She was there with me all the time, like going to school, she would go there with me. I had no car there so we have to take the train there. Budget our food, budget everything. So, it really matured me as a person as well. I’m just really thankful that she was there with me,” he imparted.
