 We’ve seen her subtly infiltrating Iris' inner circle, starting with one of her loyal but the easiest-to-trick sidekicks, Petunia (Pamu Pamorada). She carefully orchestrates an accidental encounter, intentionally bumping into Petunia and slyly taking her wallet in the process. Unaware, Petunia continues on her way to a nearby café, but soon realizes her wallet is missing and begins to panic. 

 Lavender follows Petunia and seizes the perfect opportunity to present herself as a helpful stranger. Approaching her with the missing wallet, Lavender apologizes, explaining how she felt responsible for the wallet falling out during their earlier collision. Petunia, relieved and thankful, invites Lavender to join her and her friends Lily (Jolina Magdangal) and Patrick (Justine Luzares) at their table. 

In a matter of moments, Lavender finds herself sitting at the heart of Iris’ closest allies. She takes her strategy even further by solidifying her connection with Petunia. One day at the gym, she sets up a minor commotion that she later heroically steps in to diffuse. By defending Petunia, she earns even more of her trust, making it easy to stay close. Lavender knows that Petunia, being the most tactless and impulsive among Iris’s friends, is the easiest target to manipulate and fish for information. 

 True enough, in the next scene, Petunia starts spilling personal details about Iris. She casually talks about Iris's troubled past marriage with Tyrone, including the affair that destroyed their relationship. She even shares what she knows about Tyrone’s mysterious mistress.  

 Lavender’s next major move falls perfectly into place. Thanks to her growing bond with Petunia, she’s invited to as the event designer for Iris’ grand party. It's the perfect opportunity to get even closer to her target. After all, they say, “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer,” and this time, Lavender is walking right into the lion's den. 

 The much-anticipated face-off between Lavender and Iris finally happens. Lavender introduces herself with grace, masking her true intentions behind a smile as she offers fake pleasantries. But Iris immediately shows her sharp edges. Her words are cold, and her attitude is dripping with disdain, clearly asserting her dominance over everyone around her. For Lavender, it takes every ounce of self-control to keep her cool. Standing face-to-face with the woman who destroyed her life, all she wants is to strike back, but she knows better than to let her emotions slip.  

 Lavender's act of getting closer to Iris begins to take shape as she pretends to be a friend, carefully weaving her way into Iris's trust. In a tense scene where Petunia, with her usual lack of tact, reminds Iris of Tyrone's affair and the child he had with his mistress, Iris becomes visibly triggered. Her emotions flare, and the room tenses with the awkwardness of the moment. Sensing the opportunity, Lavender steps in quickly, showing what seems to be genuine empathy. She shares a fake story, designed to tug at Iris’s emotions, saying she went through something similar.  

 That moment of shared vulnerability becomes the turning point in her plan. After Lavender's fabricated story, Iris begins to open up in ways she never had before. Slowly, she lets her guard down, seeing Lavender as more than just an event planner—but as someone who might actually understand her pain. Their conversations shift, becoming more personal, more intimate, and Iris begins to reveal pieces of her past, unknowingly giving Lavender the very ammunition she needs. 

 In one scene, over drinks, Iris talks about Jasmin—the woman who unknowingly shattered her marriage and turned her life upside down. She admits that she never truly got over it and how it still haunts her, and that given the opportunity, she would still finish what she started and kill Jasmin. 

Every word from Iris only fuels Lavender’s determination. Now more than ever, she knows she's close to her goal. With Iris opening up more, and the trust between them growing, Lavender is right where she needs to be: beside the nemesis who wants her dead, slowly dismantling her from within, preparing for the moment when she will strike back with the vengeance Iris will never see coming.
