Since its debut in 2011, the morning lifestyle talk show KrisTV has featured inspiring personalities, must-see places, and must-try dishes. This Holy Week, why not do the Visita Iglesia the KrisTV way and follow the churches that it has showcased in its past episodes?
Check out this guide:
1) Redemptorist Church (Roxas Boulevard, Baclaran, Parañaque)
Redemptorist Church is also known as the Baclaran Church and the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Kris Aquino herself is a Baclaran devotee and she sees to it that she goes to the national shrine along Roxas Boulevard every Wednesday morning.
The church features a modern and Romanesque Revival architecture. It has a seating capacity of 2,000 but can fit as many as 11,000 people during Masses. Its latest addition is a bell tower with 24 bells on top and a coffee shop at the base.
2) San Bartolome Church (Malabon) The picturesque San Bartolome Church is known for its triangular facade with colonnade and ionic columns reminiscent of a Greco-Roman temple. Its front door features wood carvings while its ceiling is lined with gold leaf and paintings.
