Last long weekend, seven malls across the country were shockingly invaded by thousands of people not because there was a massive sale that we surely couldn’t afford to miss, but to take glimpse of the illustrious loveteam KathNiel during “The Hows of Us” Nationwide Mall THOUr.
Just on the first day of their mall tour on August 25, an estimated total of 18,000 fans flocked to Ali Mall in Cubao (3,000), SM Masinag in Antipolo City, Rizal (8,000), and SM Novaliches in Quezon City (7,000) to see Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla drop by and perform.
Meanwhile, the following day (August 26) the highest number of attendees were recorded as roughly 12,000 at South Park, Alabang in Muntinlupa City, 10,000 aficionados flocked at Solenad, Nuvali in Laguna, and 6,000 at Glorietta, Makati City.
The crowd estimate during their promotional tour at SM Seaside, Cebu is yet to be determined, but basing on the photos uploaded on the official Instagram account of Star Cinema, it was as jam-packed as their previous mall shows in Manila and the outskirts.
Top-billed by the aforementioned premier on-and-off screen pair, who recently confirmed a five-year relationship, “The Hows of Us” follows the story of longtime couple Primo (Daniel Padilla) and George (Kathryn Bernardo) whose love for each other was put to the test when they decided to live under one roof. Those who are going to watch the romantic drama flick starting August 29 would not only be engrossed with their portrayals and relate to the narrative, but would also learn something about relationships and how to overcome challenges individually and as partners.
This is KathNiel’s seventh film since “Must Be…Love” in 2013 and their second movie project under the direction of Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina. The trio first worked together in the 2013 TV seriesGot To Believe.
