Armed with their white boards and markers, the Gold Squad played charades with a twist! Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin and Kyle Echarri had 10 seconds to draw the same thing. They then had to make a complete stranger guess whatever it was they drew. The only rules were that they cannot use letters, numbers, or any symbols in their drawings.
For the first round, they all tried to draw Darna! The boys tried to depict the iconic character in a superhero pose but it did not work. One person thought Kyle’s art was a person holding a broom. Andrea’s strategy was successful because she drew Darna’s headpiece. Francine’s art completely missed the mark because hers was just a circle that was supposed to be the stone.
In another round, they competed for the best representation of a lechon. Seth had the right idea by illustrating the lechon being roasted. Andrea had a similar plan but did not include the bamboo stick. Others thought it was just a pig. Francine got the same answer from a stranger because she only drew a pig’s face. Meanwhile, someone thought Kyle was showing off a goat.
The ant proved to be a difficult round. Kyle ended up with two dogs walking together. Francine was closer to a cockroach. Seth added an anthill. Andrea offered a clue because she could not let Seth win over her. When asked to draw an ice cream, they all presented an ice cream scoop on a cone. Yet, Kyle’s art apparently looked like a yoyo.
There was also a camera and pandesal round. SethDrea was extremely competitive. They tried to outwit each other in every turn. KyCine was more chill. It is clear that drawing is not one of their strong skills. Check out this video to catch The Gold Squad and their 10-second drawings!
