After it was revealed that it was actually Marga’s (Andrea Brillantes) squad who uploaded her scandalous viral video online and they already apologized to her, Kristoff (Kyle Echarri) and Cassie’s (Francine Diaz) friends Fatima (Bea Basa) and Leslie (Julie Esguerra) urged Marga to say sorry to Cassie. She hesitantly did, but still argued that it’s inevitable for her to accuse her because of their recurring strife.
Daniela (Dimples Romana) got the taste of her own medicine as Romina (Beauty Gonzalez) and her team retaliated against her by making her appear deranged as well in front of many people. As the visitors kept on asking about Romina during the party held for her and Robert’s (Albert Martinez) wedding anniversary, Bonita anxiously (Kat Galang) told Bernard (Arnold Reyes) that she didn’t get any response from Romina as she tried to call her a number of times. Daniela overheard this and volunteered to fetch her stepmom by herself.
Daniela saw Romina lying motionless on her bed and as she turned her over, she was so appalled to see her bloodied, with a knife still hoisted at her chest. She frantically ran out of the house screaming that Romina’s already dead. Everyone went in to check, only to see her gracefully going down the stairs in her immaculate white gown then told Daniela that it might be her who’s really lost her sanity. Through flashback, it was revealed that it was also them who scared Daniela by dangling a severed head by her office window and clicking the lights on-and-off in the gym locker room.
At the same time in the Bartolome residence, a heated spat between Myrna (Aleck Bovick) and Kulas (Ronnie Lazaro) erupted when the latter caught their son Jude (Luke Conde) studying Romina’s case and discouraged him from pursuing the investigation since he didn’t want their family to get involved in the mess. Kulas began hurling derogatory remarks at Jude that irked Myrna. She berated her estranged husband and accused him of covering up their wicked daughter-in-law Daniela.
The next day, Carlos (Adrian Alandy) rebuked his wife for pointing out her misbehavior to Romina by telling her “Daniela, kahit ang pinakamatapang na toro hindi manunuwag kung hindi mo kakantiin. Gano’n din si Romina.”
At the office, Bonita and Romina talked and laughed about what happened the night before, with the latter expressing her willingness to do more crazy things against Daniela in order for her to learn her lesson. The clash between the two stiff rivals seemed to explode anew during their board meeting.
On that same day, despite the restriction of his father, Jude still continued his investigation on Romina’s rape case by going to the Mondragons’ house and probed Aling Esther (Susan Africa) regarding Alvin’s (Eric Fructuso) dubious visit months ago. Just when he was about to leave, Daniela arrived. Upon finding out through Aling Esther the real intention of his surprise visit, immediately phoned Hector (Joko Diaz). She warned him of what might happen once their crime will be unveiled and told him that she’s already agreeing to his proposal of harming Romina to hinder her from pushing the enquiry.
However, since Hector would be out for the seminar Romina wanted him to attend, he passed the job to another hooligan and gave him all the necessary information he would need in order to accomplish the task.
The next day, Cassie couldn’t help but notice a car suspiciously roaming around the village and its driver seems to keep an eye on their house while she and Tupe were washing her mom’s car. Thus, despite being disallowed to drive even at least inside the village, the couple still did leave the house riding on it and tailed the suspicious car to no avail.
Just when they’re about to return to the Mondragons’ residence, Hector’s henchman crashed his car to theirs, assuming that Romina, his target, was the passenger. Upon finding out that Cassie and Kristoff were those in the car, he immediately drove away and left the two teenagers bloodied and injured. Kristoff maintained his consciousness despite sustaining a lot of injuries while Cassie got knocked out after her head slammed hard on the window pane and a sharp steel object had pierced her side. Tupe kept on shaking her but there’s no response, urging him to call his dad.
