Intensifying the sweltering heat that has been shrouding us this summer season, every episode of the hit afternoon drama Kadenang Ginto has never failed to keep our eyes glued on our televisions and bate our breaths because of the continuously worsening four-way face-off among its lead cast members.
But most of the time, it’s the clashes between stiff rivals (Beauty Gonzalez) and Daniela (Dimples Romana) that usually land a spot on the top local trending topics of Twitter, such as the seven scenes included in this Kapamilya Toplist.
Right from the very start, Daniela has perceived Romina as her number one nemesis and has been very antagonistic towards her. Being the executive secretary of her business tycoon dad Robert (Albert Martinez), Daniela saw Romina as a threat to her personal interests to the company and to her wicked and selfish plans as her father seemed to always side and listen to his subordinate rather than his daughter.
Thus, Daniela vowed to herself to make Romina’s life a living hell from seducing her fiancé Carlos (Adrian Alandy) that made him fail to show up on their wedding day up to a more desperate move of hiring an assailant named Alvin Mangubat (Eric Fructuso) to rape her. However, what made matters worse between them was when Robert proposed a marriage to Romina and offered to be the father of her then unborn child, Cassie.
As the story continues to unfold, their relationship just grew more hostile after the tragic demise of their family patriarch and their exciting tug-of-war on the luxurious properties left by Robert. Since then, their every encounter would never be complete without them engaging in heated spats and violent catfights that involve pulling of each other’s hair, hard-hitting slaps, and throwing punches, which makes the viewers more hooked, and even delighted, on the phenomenal soap opera.
This may sound despicable but we’re looking forward on the next intense showdowns between Romina and Daniela, as well as between their respective kids Cassie and Marga, on Kadenang Ginto, weekdays after It’s Showtime on Kapamilya Gold.
