After visiting an amusement park and going on a food trip around downtown San Francisco, the Gold Squad is now heading to some of the most popular tourist destinations in San Francisco! What adventure awaits Andrea Brillantes, Fedelin, Kyle Echarri and Francine Diaz?
The first stop is the Palace of Fine Arts. Inspired by Greek and Roman architecture, this historical landmark is one of the few structures from the Panama-Pacific Exposition that is still left standing. What does the Gold Squad have to say? “Very cold,” Seth noticed only the weather. “Very nostalgic,” Francine described the sentimental feel.
They took this chance to take pictures for the gram and tease Andrea. “Mas malaki pa sa’yo ‘yung swan,” Seth joked. Apparently, she must also be the caretaker of the place since her dress matches the all the greenery. “Magtabas ka na ng damo dyan,” he continued. Eventually, she got her revenge by making him be her photographer.
Next up was the iconic Golden Gate Bridge or “Golden Bridge”, according to the former PBB Otso housemate. If you are wondering how it got its name, Seth knows, “kasi ‘yan ang gate papunta doon.” They were supposed to walk along the length of bridge, but Francine was too nervous. “Gumagalaw sya,” she exclaimed. You can literally feel the bridge vibrating as cars drive by. “Ang mahalaga nakatapak tayo,” she offered.
The Squad then made a quick stop at Pier 39. They played with puns, watched sea lions, got lost in the Mirror Maze and took souvenir pictures in a photobooth. Finally, they saw the famous Lombard Street and Garden where Kyle gave Francine a piggyback then. On the way back, they rode the cable car. Seth and Andrea were busy admiring the scenery. Meanwhile, Kyle wanted to be a daredevil which earned a scolding from Francine. “Kapag nahulog ka dyan. Dito ka nga! Kyle, umayos. Napakakulit mong bata ka,” she said, clearly annoyed.
If you ever visit San Francisco, you know where to go! The Kadenang Ginto teen stars also recreated some scenes from Nadine Lustre and James Reid’s On the Wings of Love! Check out this video to see their adventure.
