ARAW NG KAGITINGAN: STORIES OF COURAGE
Araw ng Kagitingan or Day of Valor, is celebrated every April 9th in rememberance of the Filipinos who displayed resilence, tenacity and courage in the infamous Death March during the Japanese occupation in 1942. It was a gruelling 5-day march of some 75,000 FIlipinos leading to the prison camp in San Fernando.
To commemorate this memorable event, we have chosen stories of courage that will remind us to be strong and courageous in this current challenging time.
