Vice Ganda on It’s Showtime Saturday, December 7, was touched with BiyaHero: Ang Bayaning Noypi contender Mark Anthony Cruz and his mother’s story.
According to Mark Anthony’s mother, she feels happy whenever her son buys her bags and when he comes home, she makes sure that she prepares his favorite dishes.
“’Yung mga favorite po nilang pagkain, ‘yon po agad ang niluluto ko kasi alam ko pong matutuwa sila,” she said.
The mother added that he sees Mark Anthony differently from her other children and will not allow him to leave again.
“Mahal ko naman po ‘yung anim kong anak pero naiiba po siya,” she said.
“’Yung five years niya po d’on sa Korea, sobrang nalungkot po ako nang husto kaya ayoko na po. Kung maaari po, dito na lang sila lahat, ‘yung sama-sama na lang po kami,” she added.
Vice Ganda then asked her how it felt when Mark Anthony left her behind to work in another country.
To answer the question, she described her situation as “napakahirap.” Nevertheless, she endured the pain for his son’s dreams.
“Alam ko pong may pangarap siya sa amin at sa mga kapatid niya,” she said.
She added that the contender was able to help the youngest member in their family to finish a four-year course in college.
According to her, she would like her son to have a family already.
“Gustong-gusto ko na rin po magkaasawa ‘yan. Gusto ko na pong magkaapo,” she said.
With this, Vice asked her to tell the woman Mark Anthony met in the audience a few minutes ago that she is welcome in their family.
“Elly, welcome to the Cruz family,” the mother said.
After the heartwarming encounter, Vice shared his thoughts about their relationship.
“Ang ganda ganda ng kwento n’yong mag-ina. Nakakatuwa, nakaka-touch at the same time,” he said.
