Vice Ganda offered a heartwarming Magpasikat performance for people with Alopecia on It's Showtime Saturday, October 26.

According to Vice, the team was thinking about a concept that would relate to the noontime show's history. One writer said that his hair story would be perfect because throughout Showtime, his wigs evolved with the show.
'Pag malungkot, malungkot ‘yung kulay; 'pag masaya, masaya ‘yung kulay. Kasabay daw ng maraming taon na lumilipas ng Showtime eh ‘yung marami ring palit nang palit ng buhok ko kaya sabi ko 'Uy pwede so hair story,'" he explained.
He attended Tyang Amy Perez's 50th birthday party and met her sister who had alopecia.
Before that, ang daming nag-iinvite sa'kin mag-talk," he narrated.
"Gustong-gusto kong pagbigyan at gusto kong ma-experience din 'yon at makapag-share ng pwede kong i-share kasi sabi nila madami raw may alopelcia na kumukuha ng confidence sa akin kasi 'pag nakikita nilang naka-wig ako parang feeling nila kaisa nila ako," he added.
The Unkabogable Star then explained that those who chose to wear wigs use them as a protection from harsh words and judgments from other people.
Because he does not have the "luxury of time," he thought of using the show as a platform to spread the word since it would reach more people.
At first, he was hesitant because people might bash him and think that he is using their condiiton for attention, but the Alopecia Philippines assured him that they want to face the people and disseminate awareness.
He shared that there are people who asked him for wigs online because they get confidence from it, so the money he will get if he wins the competition will be especially for them.
He urged the madlang people to research about alopecia and become advocate for understanding and acceptance.
