It’s Showtime brings its biggest anniversary celebration to date called “Sampu Sample,” a year-long festival of surprises that marks the program’s ten years of making Filipinos happy and invites all madlang people to not just have fun but also help in taking care of the environment and in making a difference.
During Classic Showtime, Vice Ganda told Little Warriors member to study and remember teachers' names Tuesday, October 8. Since the group was composed of students and their performance landed on a weekday, the hosts asked the members about their studies.
Their youngest member Paulo Mendoza, 12, said he did not attend his classes today, but has asked permission from his adviser beforehand. However, when asked about his adviser's name, he was not able to give an answer since, according to him, he forgot.
The Unkabogable Star addressed what happened by stating that it is alright for him to know their dance steps, but he should also know his teacher’s name.
Mahalagang mahalaga 'yon," he stated.
When asked about his teacher in Math, he also wasn't able to give an answer.
To this, Vice said he is very disappointed by saying: "Hala ka, nakou 'di pumapasok. Bad 'yan, ayaw ni Ate Vice niyan."
Paulo does not even know his school's principal.
The comedy superstar also told the older members of the group that they should be the one guiding the younger members.
Upon asking, Vice was shocked to know that he and the kid went to the same elementary school.
When Vhong Navarro asked Vice about his former teachers, he was able to give their names and the subjects they taught. With this, Vhong told Paulo to be like Vice.
Upon finishing the conversation with Paulo, Vice asked another young member of the group to say his teacher's name. Fortunately, he was able to answer and give the principal's surname, as well.
Vice warned the members that if they continue not paying attention to school, their mothers might not allow them to dance anymore.
Anne Curtis suggested that they should impose a rule in their group: "Bawal mag-practice kapag hindi pa nagagawa ang homework."
"Tsaka 'pag may bumagsak, tanggalin sa grupo," Vice added.
According to the group's leader, there have already been a lot who got kicked out from the group.
To end the conversation, Vice reminded the members of their rights as children and that they should not worry about money for now.
Mag-aral at maglaro lamang kayo. That's the basic rights of a child," he added.
