The first BiyaHero: Ang Bayaning Noypi contender that Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis were able to talk to was Eduardo Dela Cruz who served as a cleaner and car washer in Saudi Arabia.
According to him, he left the country because his mother got sick thus, they needed extra money to help with her medication.
"Masakit po kaya lang kailangan ko magsakripisyo eh (kasi) kami lang dalawa," he said.
His mother told him that she will be able to handle him being away as long as he will always message her.
Unfortunately, when he is now able to give more to his mom, she passed away.
"Gusto kong ibigay lahat. Ang problema, nawala siya," he said.
Eduardo knew the news through a phone call from his family members then just cried the pain away.
He went home for five days shortly after in order to see the remains of his loved one then came back to Saudi.
"Kailangan ko rin mabuhay. May anak po ako," he said.
When asked if he made the right decision to leave the country, he disagreed and said that he regretted leaving his mother. He even came to the point wherein he hired someone to help take care of his mother because his siblings were not available.
The Unkabogable Star then assured him that his intentions were good when he left and that is enough.
"Ginawa mo kung ano sa palagay mo ang nararapat. 'Yon din naman ang intensyon mo sa pag-alis kaya 'wag mo rin sisihin ang sarili mo," he said.
"Masaya ang nanay mo dahil alam niya ginawa mo ‘yung bahagi mo bilang anak," he added.
When the BiyaHero left the stage, Vice and Anne then said they enjoy speaking to the contenders because it is in that way that the people learn and understand both the OFW and the people left behind.
"Gustong-gusto ko 'tong kinakausap natin sila kasi mas nakikilala natin at mas nauunawaan ‘yung mga Kapamilya nating OFW," he said.
"Pati na rin ang mga pamilya na nandito. Mas may kaalaman na sila kung ano pinagdadaanan ng mga relatives nila abroad," Anne added.
