Vice Ganda finally introduced Ion Perez as his "katuwang sa buhay" Saturday, October 26, on It's Showtime.
When Vhong Navarro asked the team leader about his experiences on peforming alone for the competition, he shared that he was blessed to have people who stood by him.
"Alam mo nakalagay 'Mag-isa ka at kaya mo 'to' pero in reality, hindi ko naman kaya. Kasi ‘di ba 'yon ang shin'share ko sa inyo lagi 'pag nagmi-meeting tayo. 'Yon ang bubog ko. Everybody thinks, a lot of people think, na kaya ko lagi when in fact, hindi ko naman po kaya lagi. I need help and I am just so blessed kasi hindi naman ako nag-iisa," he expressed.
He also shared how Dawn Zulueta, Alopecia Philippines and the Ms. Q & A queens took the time to participate in the performance.
"Tinext nila [Dawn] tapos sumagot agad kaya ang laking tulong nito. Sabi ko 'ikaw ang magiging lucky charm ko. Sila [Alopecia Philippines], sumama sila kusang loob kaya 'di rin ako nag-iisa, ‘yung ms Q & A [din]," he said.
Following that, he shared how happy he is now for having someone beside him after so many years of feeling all alone.
"Sa totoong buhay, hindi po natin kaya mag-isa. Kailangan natin ng katulong. Maaaring pamilya o ang Panginoon pero kailangan natin ng tulong. Hindi tayo pwede mag-isa," Vice said.
"Ang sarap-sarap sa pakiramdam na naramdaman ko na hindi ako nag-iisa kasi for so many years in the past, I felt I was all alone at itong pang sampung taon ng Showtime, ang swerte swerte ko kasi hindi na ako nag-iisa. Meron na'kong katuwang sa buhay and I am so happy," he added.
In their Magpasikat performance, there was a scene where Vice said "You don't need to be loved by the whole world. You only need yourself and one person that you love to accept and love you back."
With this, he said that the noontime show's 10th anniversary will be unforgettable because he already has one who would do the same for him.
He then pointed to Ion and continued, “At mayroon na ako n’on. Andyan oh!” Ion Perez went near Vice and then they hugged each other.
According to Ion, the comedy superstar becoming Vice Ganda was just a bonus because what he truly loved in him was "Tutoy."
Vice then continued to thank those who became part of the performance when suddenly Jhong Hilario brought up the fact that a butterfly landed on Vice's hand while performing.
"I'm sure hindi naman 'to kasama sa choreography pero may dumapong paru-paro sa kamay mo kanina," he said.
"At first, it was so weird. Hinipan ko siya, hindi siya lumilipad ta’s nung lumipad, lumipat siya sa mikropono ko ta’s sabi ko 'hindi talaga ako nag-iisa," Vice answered.
The comedy superstar expressed his gratefulness for those who continue to support and make him feel loved.
"Ang daming nagmamahal sakin. Maaaring tao man o dating tao at iba nang elemento ngayon. Madlang people, sa loob ng sampung taon, damang-dama ko po ‘yung pagmamahal n’yo po sa akin," he said.
Because of the public's support, he promised to do his best every day and serve his purpose of making people happy.
"Isinusumpa ko po hindi ko iiwanan ang Showtime at araw-araw gagalingan ko para mapatawa kayo," he said.
Anne Curtis then added that she thinks the butterfly that landed on his hand was God's reminder for him that he is not alone.
"God will always be there for you and us, the Showtime family you've had for ten years, we will always be here for you no matter what. Sasamahan ka namin forever," she assured him.
