It’s Showtime brings its biggest anniversary celebration to date called “Sampu Sample,” a year-long festival of surprises that marks the program’s ten years of making Filipinos happy and invites all madlang people to not just have fun but also help in taking care of the environment and in making a difference.
To judge the Magpasikat 2019 performances, veterans and professionals in the entertainment industry were invited for the noontime show's tenth anniversary festivities.
The first judge is former Pangasinan Congresswoman and now Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) Chairperson Rachel Arenas.
The founder and creative director of the Halili-Cruz School of Ballet Shirley Halili-Cruz and top notch international choreographer Andy Alviz was also present to give their opinions based on their knowledge on the art of dancing.
Following them was former matinee idol turned award-winning drama actor and now Lieutenant Commander in the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary Diether Ocampo.
The Lord of Scents Joel Cruz and prominent dermatologist Dra. Vicki Belo were also invited to join the celebration.
Rene Napeñas, head of the Public Affairs and Information Office of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), was also there, as well as the TV host, newspaper columnist, eventologist Tim Yap.
Another judge was Tina Monzon-Palma who is a broadcast journalist and news anchor.
The Punong Hurado Edu Manzano is a veteran actor and TV host who has been in the industry for more than 40 years already.
