It’s Showtime brings its biggest anniversary celebration to date called “Sampu Sample,” a year-long festival of surprises that marks the program’s ten years of making Filipinos happy and invites all madlang people to not just have fun but also help in taking care of the environment and in making a difference.
The groups Guess Crew, Katribu Mindanao Ensemble, J Crisis, AMK Rock Nation and Kinetix competed on It's Showtime's Classic Showtime Weekly Finals Friday, October 25.
The first act was from the Guess Crew who gave a zombie-themed performance that Hurado Denise Laurel described as "strong."
The next performance was made by the Katribu Mindanao Ensemble who, according to Hurado Sunshine Garcia, showed passion through their dancing.
Following them was J-Crisis who earned a standing ovation from the Hurados and the madlang people because of their death-defying stunts. According to Hurado Denise, they "know what the people like" and they did everything the Hurados told them to "and more."
The AMK Rock Nation was the fourth to perform. Just like the third group, they showed stunts, but with hoops this time. Hurado Iza Calzado said that they made good use of their props.
The last act was by the Kinetix who, according to Hurado Denise and Jayson Gainza, put smiles on their audience's faces.
The grand finals will commence on October 26 at the Resorts World, Manila.
