It’s Showtime brings its biggest anniversary celebration to date called “Sampu Sample,” a year-long festival of surprises that marks the program’s ten years of making Filipinos happy and invites all madlang people to not just have fun but also help in taking care of the environment and in making a difference.
The country’s number one noontime show also looks back on its ten years by relaunching its well-loved classic segments.
In the Classic Showtime, which was launched on October 1, past performers once again graced the show’s stage.
The groups Hype Impact Family, Ex-Mob, and P-Squad Marawi competed on Classic Showtime Monday, October 14.
The first act, Hype Impact Family from Olongapo, gave an OPM inspired performance. According to group, they wanted to flaunt Filipino songs through dancing.
The next performance was made by the Ex-Mob from Quezon. Hurado Donnalyn Bartolome said she felt that one of them danced for their group member who was injured right before their performance. Hurado Sunshine Garcia added that they could be Streetboys’ juniors.
The last act was by the P-Squad Marawi from Bulacan who gave an emotional performance. According to them, they dedicated their dance for the soldiers who continue to serve the country, especially those in the Marawi siege.
According to Unevictable Hurado Bayani Agbayani, he was not disappointed by their performance.
“Hindi n’yo ako binigo,” he said.
