It’s Showtime brings its biggest anniversary celebration to date called “Sampu Sample,” a year-long festival of surprises that marks the program’s ten years of making Filipinos happy and invites all madlang people to not just have fun but also help in taking care of the environment and in making a difference.
The country’s number one noontime show also looks back on its ten years by relaunching its well-loved classic segments.
In the Classic Showtime, which was launched last Tuesday, October 1, past performers once again graced the show’s stage.
The groups Prime Gutzy, The Queenz of XS, and G-Squad competed on Classic Showtime Tuesday, October 15.
The first act, Prime Gutzy, gave a Vice Ganda inspired performance filled with splits.
According to group, they wanted to promote the talents the LGBTQ community has through dancing. Hurado Donnalyn Bartolome said their performance boosted her mood for the day. “Iba ‘yung good vibes na nabigay n’yo sa’kin,” she said.
The next performance was made by the Queenz of XS who received a standing ovation from the judges because of their powerful stunts and splits. According to Hurado Josh Colet, their performance was high impact.
The last to showcase their talent was the G-Squad who showed a piece that surely made the girls happy. The group is consists of male models. According to the Kakaibabe Hurado, despite the simple steps of their act, they did them confidently.
