Our TNT hurados, composed of the most illustrious and legendary names in OPM, hold the great task of judging the performances of Tawag ng Tanghalan contenders on It’s Showtime.
Being part of the It’s Showtime family, these judges don’t just plainly do their job, they also join the fun!
From giving “samples” of their unmatched talent in singing, or surprising everyone with doses of their acting prowess, or even throwing jokes to entertain us, our TNT hurados proved to us that they are game for anything.
As we continue to celebrate the 9th anniversary of It’s Showtime, let’s look at some of the most entertaining performances that our TNT jury did to brighten our days.
Hurados Yeng Constantino and Erik Santos showed a sample of their acting talent by redoing a scene in the Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla blockbuster "Barcelona: A Love Untold". Yeng also engaged a TNT contender for a duet singing the heartwarming song “Tadhana” by Up Dharma Down.
Queen of Soul Jaya also did an impersonation of America’s former first lady Michelle Obama and performed a soulful duet with Vice Ganda singing Barry Manilow’s “I Made it Through the Rain.”
Hurado Nyoy Volante also sang a duet with a TNT contender, crooning his hit composition, “Someday.”
Karla Estrada, meanwhile, also belted the iconic Aegis song titled “Halik” with a TNT contender.
RnB Queen Kyla brought the house down with her knock-knock jokes using her restyled versions of Ogie Alcasid’s classic “Nandito Ako” and “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” by Brian Hyland.
World-class artist hurado Jed Madela also had a memorable moment with a woman from the audience singing Bryan Adams and Barbara Streisand’s “I Finally Found Someone.” Jed also gave a mellifluous sample rendition of the song "Blue Bayou" by Linda Ronstadt.
It’s Showtime host and TNT hurado Billy Crawford also performed a sample rendition of Bruno Mars’ renowned track “Versace on the Floor” and fellow hurado Ogie Alcasid, for his part, likewise gave a sample of his song “Taba Ko Na, Bes.”
