Vice Ganda Harapan Survey

With 10.2 million followers on Instagram, 14.3 million followers on Twitter, over 17 million followers on Facebook, and 6.1 million subscribers on YouTube, there’s no doubt that Vice Ganda is one of the biggest superstars in the country.

His every social media post may have never failed to rake in thousands of “likes” and comments, it’s also inevitable for him to also receive snide remarks at the same time, just like any public figure does. So, in his latest vlog, he came up with the idea of asking random people of their thoughts about him (a.k.a. “Harapang Survey”) during his trip to Boracay Island, Aklan recently with his family, friends, and partner Ion Perez.

Apparently, it was easy for the madlang people he asked to enumerate the things they admire about him, such as his sunny disposition, genuineness, perseverance, impeccable talents, humility, impressive and wit. However, they couldn’t think of anything that they dislike about him, telling him either how much they completely love him or how impossible it is for them to say bad things about him since they do not know him personally.

Of course, the It’s Showtime host also quizzed his friends, with Hashtag Wilbert Ross telling him how much he adores the totality of yourself. But he is worried that Vice’s being too kind might be abused by other people who ask for his help. His partner Ion also described him as someone with a good soul, yet jestingly implied how his being a nagger or “matalak” annoys him.

Although the nice words he got from the previous madlang people he talked to melted his heart, the young woman the Unkabogable Star asked the last apparently moved him the most. According to her, she’s able to help people from all walks of life and of all ages by making them feel better amid the stressful things we’ve been going through or going around us. Besides, he has also inspired them to appreciate and accept our true selves.

Furthermore, the young woman thanked him as well for being one of the reasons for a lot of people to keep going on in life. She doesn’t see anything worth hating for about him, aside from jestingly telling him that it’s probably his height, for she actually regards him as a good example.

Vice Ganda capped off the vlog by saying that he may be able to read posts or comments about him on social media from both his fans and no-supporters who are expressing their admiration and gratitude for who he is and the things that he had done, but he finds it more thrilling when those things are said to him in person.

“People can always find strength and courage to say mean things to a lot of people on social media. Ang dali-dali lang gawin no'n. Kung madaling i-post at i-type ‘yong magandang bagay sa social media, sana mas madali nating sabihin nang personal sa kapwa ‘yong mas magaganda kasi ‘yon ang magpapaganda ng paligid, ‘yon ang magpapaganda ng vibe, ‘yon ang magpapaganda sa society,” he stated.

Then he added, “I am just so thankful and grateful na may mga nakasalubong ako araw-araw na meron pala talaga silang magandang iniisip about me, meron silang magandang sabihin about me, tapos sasabihin nila nang personal. Ang ganda ng experience na ‘yon. Super GV. Kaya GV-GV lang! Ipagpatuloy natin ang pagpapasabog ng GV.”
