Ana Ramsey gives peek of personal life via phone gallery in Showtime All-Access’ “Showtime Reax”

In the past weeks of assuming the hosting gig for Showtime All-Access, it had been part of Tawag ng Tanghalan Celebrity Edition alumna Ana Ramsey’s job to interview celebrities who guested in It’s Showtime to play in its exciting and interactive segment “Madlang Pi-Poll”.

But aside from simply conversing with them or challenging them in the various games the It’s Showtime staff had prepared for them, she was also able to compel them to share a bit about their personal lives by showing a few of their favorite photos or videos they keep from their respective phone galleries.

And in this episode, it’s now her time to raid her own gallery in “Showtime Reax”! First off, she showed one of her photos taken during one of her trips to Benguet. She described it as surreal since it was her first time to see Banaue Rice Terraces up-close, which she used to only see in Sibika at Kultura books in her elementary days.

Second was her selfie with world’s oldest living tattoo artist or mambabatok Apo Whang-Od. Although she was pressured to get inked as well like her companions, she was still able to resist it and simply took a snap with the famous old lady.

Next was an outtake from one of her recent gigs, which were among the things she missed doing during this pandemic. When asked for her message to the people who also lost their jobs because of this crisis, she said, “Ako, I always say na God is our greatest provider. Kasi may mga times talaga na parang sasabihin mo na ‘ano na, what’s next?’ Actually, lahat naman tayo gano’n, ‘di ba, nitong nag-pandemic. Pero just trust lang the process, itong journey nating lahat sa gitna ng pandemya. And lahat naman ng bagay na kinakaharap natin matatapos din ‘yan. So let’s just hope and mag-pray tayo na everything will be okay soon.”

Ana then showed a selfie of her taken at the booth of ABS-CBN’s FM radio station MOR, wherein she used to be one of its DJs. She expressed how much she misses it, especially being able to mingle with their listeners or coming to the booth every weekend. Besides, she’s thankful as well for the opportunities that came to her because of this job and wishes for the Kapamilya radio stations to be available on-air again.

She also shared a photo of her beloved family, disclosing how they love to bond over food and frequently go to Tagaytay to simply get together and relax.

Last was a clip of her showing her basketball moves, which she hadn’t done for a long time. Ana confessed that she actually used to be in the women’s basketball team of her schools in high school and college.
