From being one of the reputable hurados of Tawag ng Tanghalan, OPM icon Ogie Alcasid has now become the newest addition to the continuously growing gregarious family of It’s Showtime after his impressive stint as a guest co-host of the noontime show.

He has indeed developed rapport with his colleagues and unlikely chemistry with the Unkabogable Star. And in this Kapamilya Toplist feature, let’s look back on those moments when they had us laughing out loud in their hilarious shenanigans.

We’ve witnessed how Vice made fun of Ogie a number of times, such as when he erroneously called a TNT contestant by a different name as he was about to deliver his comment on his performance. Vice jestingly talked to his co-host Vhong Navarro, declaring how talkative Ogie is. The hitmaker clapped back by saying that it was to Vice to whom he chats with most of the time, but the latter “confessed” that it was Ogie’s fellow judge Nyoy Volante who they’re talking about.

Ogie also once attempted to expose the Unkabogable Star in an episode of the Madlang Pi-Poll segment, wherein the latter responded that he’s actually better in playing “habulan ng bet” to the question, “Sa palarong may hugot, saan ka mananalo?” As their co-hosts teased that he’s actually great in “taguan ng feelings” since he hid his relationship with Ion Perez for a year before making it public two years ago, Ogie said that he’s slowly learning more about Vice, uttering that he used to think that he’s always all out. Vice retorted by reminding him that he and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez did the same in the early years of their relationship.

While we’re already accustomed to see Vice and Vhong picking at each other, Ogie got involved in one of their harutan moments after he tried to stop him and defend his “brother” and Magpasikat 2021 teammate. He eventually became on the receiving end of Vice’s irate.

There were instances when Vice would show his support to Ogie, such as when the latter tried to deliver a “knock-knock” joke inspired by the name of phenomenal content creator Esnyr Ranollo, who was then playing as a “Madlang Pi-Poll” studio player alongside his “Love Is Color Blind” co-stars Angelina Cruz and Jeremiah Lisbo.

He may be the country’s OPM icon, but Ogie has always shown his comedic side as an actor and host. And in his hosting stint for It’s Showtime, he’s able to prove that he is indeed game for anything with Vice Ganda – from hilarious banters to physical hosting.
