Kylie Verzosa rose to popularity after being crowned as Binibining Pilipinas-International and Miss International in 2016, and eventually through her promising portrayals in movies and series, which includes "Ang Panday" (2017), Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Los Bastardos (2018), and “Love Lockdown” (2020).
And from being a beauty queen and actress, we're able to see her in a different light through her stint in It’s Showtime’s “Sexy Babe” segment as one of the judges, a.k.a. the "Sexy Authoriteam".
Now that the well-loved segment is now over, let's look back on some of the memorable moments of Kylie in this episode of Kapamilya Toplist!
Aside from catching sight of her deific and flawless beauty, we also look forward to seeing her sexy and flamboyant OOTDs that never fail to wow the viewers. From the butterfly bralettes and eye-catching tops and bottoms that displayed how ravishing she really is, to the butterfly clips and fancy accessories that showed her playful and youthful side, she indeed turned It’s Showtime as her instant runway.
But aside from her remarkable fashion moments, we were also able to get to know Kylie more through this gig. We were able to get a hint on how tightly-bonded she is to her family in one of episodes wherein the topic of parents was brought up.
“Ako kasi kapag brini-bring up ang parents ko, kahit mukha akong malakas, napapaiyak talaga ako kasi hindi ko alam na nare-realize ko na ‘yon pala ang hinahanap ng puso ko. ’Yong hug ng mommy ko - nakakamiss lang [at] nakaka-touch,” she related.
In another episode, we were astonished when the beauty queen-turned-actress had her fragile moment on live TV as she suddenly cried while the hosts and a “Sexy Babe” contestant were talking about relationships and couples going through a rough patch. She may not have talked about it nor the hosts refused to quiz her regarding her reason for crying, avid showbiz onlookers probably had an inkling that it could be related to her breakup with her ex-boyfriend, which was still fresh during that time.
And since the 30-year-old actress is currently single, the hosts and her fellow judge Ruffa Gutierrez began teasing her and Ryan Bang, who’s also seemingly not in a relationship, too. She went with it and requested him a cup of her favorite “soy cappuccino” and even accepted his invitation for them to have a coffee date.
The coffee date may not have seemingly materialized yet, but our very own “Korean oppa” brought him her “soy cappuccino” and two banana breads.
Her amusing interactions with the gregarious hosts and her fellow judges have really allowed Kylie to show off her funny and perky side that we probably do not see often, right? Thus, this makes her a perfect addition to the ever-growing It’s Showtime family.
