For the past 14 years, It’s Showtime has not only provided us with good vibes and laughter through the hilarious banters and amusing shenanigans of the gregarious hosts with one another, as well as with the contestants, guests, or madlang people that appear on the show.

But starting last February, cuteness has begun to fill our noontimes everyday as five adorable, talented, and quick-witted kiddos were introduced to us through the fun and exciting segment “Isip Bata.” They are none other than Lucas Landicho, Imogen Cantong, Argus Aspiras, Princess Kathryn “Kulot” Caponpon, and Jaze Capili, who are fondly called the “Batang Cute-pos.”

From Monday to Saturday, they never fail to captivate us not just with their charm and talents, but with the unbelievable wisdom and eloquence that they exhibit every time they talk to the hosts and impart their views and opinions to the questions during the “Isip Bata” segment. We can all agree that they are indeed ahead of their ages or their generation with regards to how they perceive things and express themselves.

They may have different personalities or upbringing, but those didn’t hinder them from having palpable chemistry and establishing awesome bond with one another. And those are not just for the show, as their wonderful friendship and camaraderie delightfully extend behind the scenes, as seen in their adorable photos together that we collated in this gallery!

In her recent Magandang Buhay interview, Vice Ganda disclosed that “Isip Bata” is actually her “baby segment,” which she conceptualized and developed in collaboration with the creative department of It’s Showtime. According to her, they came up with the idea of including kids to the show upon the realization that we haven’t seen children on noontime for a long time now.

“Sino kaya ‘yong batang pwede kong makasama kung gagawa ulit ako ng pelikula? Sabi kong gano’n. So, gusto kong maka-discover ng bagong bata. Baka may bagong bata na mamahalin ulit ng mga tao, tapos pwede ko siyang makasama sa mga next projects ko. At miss na miss na nating makakita ng mga batang bibo,” the Unkabogable Star related.

At present, we don’t just see them in “Isip Bata,” but in the “Mini Miss U” segment as well, in which they join the hosts in interviewing the pretty contestants, and still get to showcase their wits and talents that always delight us at the same time.
