They usually astonish us with their impressive comments and amuse us with their banters with the hosts of It’s Showtime during the Showtime Sexy Babes segment. But this Saturday, January 29, judges – a.k.a. “The Sexy Authoriteam” – astounded the madlang people as they unleashed their sexiness and hidden dancing skills in their production number alongside the Sexy Babes weekly finalists.
Those who have been regularly watching It’s Showtime would know that this was a brainchild of Vice Ganda after being inspired by the talent showcased by one of the contestants. He gave her a mini production number on that same episode based on what she used to do in an old entertainment program in her younger years, but thought that it would be better if she and her fellow Sexy Babes jurors were going to have their own dance number. They enthusiastically accepted the challenge, thus the rehearsals were set.
And we’re able to gain access during their rigorous practices and even took a few pictures that we collated in this gallery!
In these photos, we can see how serious and passionate Ruffa, Nicole, and Elmo were in learning their routines and blockings. And all their time, effort, and exhaustion were indeed worth it as they didn’t fail in delivering the highly anticipated Sexiest Showtime Supershow!
Nicole and Elmo teamed up in setting the stage on fire with their interpretation of “Love Me Like You Do,” while Sexy Babes weekly finalists Justine Federez of Malabon City, Arabella David of Pateros, Manica Llamelo of Nueva Ecija, Leona Mae Rossel of Bulacan, Danica Mojica of Manila, and Jezreal de Ocampo of Cavite impressed us with their showdown on Fifth Harmony’s “BO$$”.
And for the finale, Ruffa wowed us when she bust her long-hidden dance moves to Camila Cabello’s “Señorita” and even flawlessly executed her liftings with the help of her backup dancers. She revealed after their production number that she accidentally hit one of the dancers and even almost fell the second they did the lifting.
