Aside from being a seasoned actress and a well-loved host and performer, Anne Curtis is being looked up to as one of the fashion icons in the local entertainment scene. As a certified “It Girl,” the It’s Showtime host is arguably one of those to trailblaze a trend, may it be through her OOTDs or the way she dolls herself up. And she’s seemingly going to set a fad anew as she had her glorious long locks cut into a chic bob with full bangs! 

Many initially thought that it was only a wig, when she debuted it through a carousel of aesthetic shots that she uploaded on Instagram last September 30, wherein she’s seen sitting in a bathtub while projecting to the camera. This made some of her followers assume that it was only one of those magazine or fashion photo shoots that she usually does, but her caption made us realize that it’s really her hair!

The 37-year-old superstar indicated in the caption that she had it chopped by a popular Korean salon based here in the Philippines, with makeup artist Robbie Pinera and hairstylist Raymond Santiago making her look extra glamorous even with minimal makeup in the snaps captured by photographer Alan Segui.

With how her new hair frames her face so well and how it appears truly gorgeous on her, Anne’s adoring fans and celebrity friends unsurprisingly raved about it, of course. Others even commented that her new look reminds them of certain international celebrities and characters. Her It’s Showtime co-hosts Jugs Jugueta and Jhong Hilario said that she resembles Hollywood actress Natalie Portman in her 2004 movie “Closer” and Tokyo in the popular series “Money Heist”, respectively.

However, it seems that her real inspiration for this fresh ‘do is her favorite film character Amelie from the 2001 French romantic comedy flick with the same title, from which she based the second name of her daughter Baby Dahlia.
