It has been probably a year since Vice Ganda took notice of and jestingly flirted with It’s Showtime dancer Jackque Gonzaga, or “Ate Girl”, whenever she appears on the Miss Q & A portion with the bowl of questions for the contestants.
Now, another alluring and gorgeous dancer is beginning to climb her way to stardom, thanks to the Unkabogable Star and his co-host Jhong Hilario who called her up to the stage and asked her random questions – from her Instagram handle up to her true gender.
This interview with Stephanie Robles truly befuddled not only Jhong, but the Madlang People as well, as the host-comedian kept on insisting that the dancer’s gay and was said to be discovered by Vice in a gay pageant in Quiapo and with the real name Stephen Jr.

But despite this confirmation, we are still at a daze. Is Vice taking us for a ride with a practical joke or is he telling the shocking truth? Trying to find the truth, we stalked Stephanie or Stephen Jr. on Instagram and we discovered these facts:
Fond of taking photos
Going through Steph’s account, it’s definitely not difficult to tell that this 19-year-old bombshell is so fond of taking selfies or videos. In her 489 posts as of writing, most of them were OOTDs or facial shots. But we also spotted a few random artistic images.
Congenial and amiable
What we notice is Steph’s being one congenial and amiable It’s Showtime dancer, obviously getting along well with fellas and even found real friendships with them.
A foodie
With a sexy figure, it’s surprising to know that Steph is a certified foodie. Based on the posted food images, it seemed Steph is not a picky eater, consuming food as humble as dirty ice cream and as pricey as those that can be bought in posh restaurants.
Able to sing and act
Aside from being a good dancer, Steph also has a hidden flair in singing and acting as evidenced by a posted clip. Steph sang Coldplay’s “Fix You” and had a selfie with an actress. As proof of Steph’s interest in acting, an image of well-renowned acting coach Ivana Chubbuck’s book “The Power of the Actor: The Chubbuck Technique” was posted as well.
Omnipresent on It’s Showtime
Another thing we learned from going through Steph’s IG is that we’ve already seen the dancer a number of times on the show, but we’re perhaps unaware of it then. These include Steph holding the boxes of additional prizes for the semi-finalists of Tawag ng Tanghalan, and guiding the contestants on and off the stage. Steph was also one of the dancers in the Kalokalike number of former host Kim Atienza and in the Magpasikat entry of Karylle and Jhong, both were for the show’s ninth anniversary celebration last year.
But despite browsing these photos, we still can’t know for sure—Stephanie or Stephen, Jr.? What do you think? Let’s see how this mystery will unravel on It’s Showtime weekdays and Saturdays at noontime!
