Former It’s Showtime GirlTrend member Karen Reyes has apparently never been happier now that she is already a mom to two adorable children that she shares with her longtime boyfriend Raymund “Sarkie” Sarangay, the lead vocalist of Filipino rock band Silent Sanctuary.

Despite being public figures, they have managed to keep their relationship low-key, thus Karen’s followers on Instagram were really surprised when she posted a set of photos of them together in April 2018 doing wacky faces while bounded in each other’s tight embrace.

In one of her media interviews on that same year, she nervously yet giddily disclosed that they’ve been together since 2015. As she refused to divulge how their love story blossomed, the 23-year-old actress just shared what made her fall in love with Sarkie, saying that it’s his whole personality.

There may be a 14-year age gap between them, but she assured that this has not been a problem since both of them are matured. Besides, she firmly believes that what makes them absolutely compatible is the fact that they grew up at almost the same community – Sarkie was from Sembo, while Karen was from South Sembo, which are barangays in Makati City – and they are both Libra.

While her family used to have doubts with their relationship, they eventually gave them their blessing. And now, they are happy parents to a lovable three-year-old girl named Olivia and a one-year-old cute baby boy named Lucas, who Karen just introduced in one of her vlogs last May.

Although he’s camera-shy, there were several times that Sarkie joined his gorgeous and gregarious girlfriend in some of her vlog entries, through which were able to get to know him better and take a glimpse of their simple yet blissful life at present. We’re also able to discover that she has been a fan of their band and that he wasn’t actually aware that she’s an actress.
