“I wish to be the strongest kuya so I could able to work hard more and more to give my family a better life,” McCoy declared. Along with these words, he shared a handwritten letter that his younger brother Marcus wrote which reads, “Happy Birthday kuya McCoy”. In another post, the Kapamilya star talked about how Marcus motivate him to work hard, “My forever inspiration. Siya ang malaking dahilan kaya ako nagpupursige sa buhay. Tulad sa picture na to, ako ang kuyang yayakap at magpoprotekta sa kanya.”

The actor also has a younger sister named Shylla. “My forever loveteam,” he said in the caption of their picture together. “Waaaag ka masyadong mabilis magdalaga,” he said in a separate post about her.

There was one time when he babysat his younger siblings and it made him realize how much he truly loves them. “Hindi talaga biro mag-alaga ng bata. Nakakapagod dahil ilang beses mong susuwayin, kung saan saang nagususot, kung anu ano kinakalat at mapupuyat ka sa pagpapatulog. Pero lahat ng yun kapalit nun hindi mapaliwanag na kasiyahan. Para lang rin akong bata na nakikipaglaro sa kanila at nakisayaw,” he shared. More importantly, it made him thankful for his parents’ efforts, “Kaya pasalamat tayo sa mga magulang natin dahil sa pagkapagod nila mapalaki tayo, sana’y suklian natin din sila ng hindi mapaliwanag na kasiyahan.”
