While he really does a “good job” in bringing laughter and good vibes to the madlang people as one of the main hosts of It’s Showtime, as well as in accomplishing the fun challenges in the “Palarong Pangmadla” segment, Vhong Navarro is apparently also doing a great job in being a husband to his beloved wifey Tanya Bautista.

They may not be the type who often share about their shenanigans together, yet they’re still able to give us a glimpse of their beautiful and inspiring romance through a few photos of them that they uploaded on Instagram and we collated in this gallery.

Their love story is said to have started when they met in 2008 on the set of the romantic comedy flick “My Only U”, which Vhong topbilled opposite Toni Gonzaga, while Tanya was among the writers. As if stroke of fate, his character was named “Bong,” while Toni was “Winona,” which happens to be the second name of Tanya. This paved the way for them to get to know each other and they obviously hit it off!

Vhong and Tanya came out stronger than ever after that challenging phase in their relationship, restoring our faith in true love and its unbelievable power. In an interview with ABS-CBN News in 2016, he stated that if ties the knot again, he wanted to make sure that it would already be his last.

Furthermore, he expressed how blessed he truly is to have her in his life by saying, “Maghahanap pa ba ako? Hindi na, wala na. Nasa kanya na lahat iyon. Nakita naman nating lahat kung ano ang paghihirap niya sa akin, sa dami ng pinagdaanan ko no’ng 2014, patuloy siyang nandiyan nakasuporta sa akin.”

And after 11 years of being together, they finally tied the knot on November 28, 2019 through an intimate ceremony held at a hotel in Kyoto, Japan. It was attended by some of their family and close friends, which included members of the It’s Showtime family and their respective partners.

Now that they’ve been married for two years now, Vhong and Tanya continue to create beautiful and unforgettable memories together and with his now grown-up sons Yce and Fredriek. They’ve been very much supportive of each other’s endeavors and hobbies, such as when she accompanied him in one of his biking sessions around their community.
