Julianne Torres, Reinanay ng Muntinlupa City, emerged on Saturday as the first-ever Reina Ng Tahanan, “Ang Pinakanatatanging Ina” grand winner on It’s Showtime.
Reinanay Julianne, 32, bested Reinanay Leona Andersen from Olongapo City and Reinanay Lilia Aban from Calauag, Quezon to bag the crown, the P300,000 cash prize, a house and lot, a jewelry set worth P112,000, and a tea franchise negosyo package worth P248,000. She also took home the glittering Reina ng Tahanan crown designed by Manny Halasan, who is known for his work in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant
Leona was named first runner-up, winning P100,000 and a jewelry set. Lilia took home P50,000 and a jewelry set as the second runner-up.
Julianne got an average score of 96.8 percent, over Leona’s close 95.6 percent. Lilia rounded up the “Royal 3” with 93 percent.
The Reinanays were judged based on personality and charm (35%), talent (20%), answers from the Q&A portion 35%, and overall impact (10%).
The Royal 3 answered the final question on what they would advise mothers who think they are no-good. Julianne said she would tell her about her own experiences as a mother, and appreciate yourself as one gifted by God to carry out a mission to rear and guide children.
In the talent portion, Julianne performed a TikTok-inspired lively, upbeat dance number to the tune of “Dance With You” by Skusta Clee featuring Yuri Dope and “Sumayaw Ka” by Gloc 9.
The five other grand finalists include Diana Jade Salundagit from Quezon City, Catrina David Antonio from Plaridel, Bulacan, Analyn Salvador from Baliuag, Bulacan, Zenaida Villas from Muntinlupa, and Yolly Magat from Caloocan City
Reinanay Lilia also won “The Greatest Showmom” special award for her rendition of Regine Velasquez-Alcasid’s “Narito Ako” in the talent portion. Reinanay Zenaida, meanwhile, took the “Mama-asahang Kaibigan” friendship award. Reinanay Julianne likewise bagged “Gowndang Nanay” best in long gown special award, while Reinanay Leona captured the Madlang People’s Choice Award.
Serving as the “Choosegados” in the Reina Ng Tahanan grand finals were 1969 Miss Universe Gloria Diaz, Tyang Amy Perez, Janice de Belen, Ruffa Gutierrez, and new mom Elisse Joson.
