From amusing us with their personal stories and sensible sentiments on various topics and situations in the “Isip Bata” segment, as well as their abilities to somehow catch the tune and lyrics of various songs on the spot in “Karaokids”, the adorable Batang Cute-pos of It’s Showtime prove that they’re indeed talented as they showcase their hidden chops in acting in the newest segment “Showing Bulilit.”

Launched last April, the segment features kiddos Argus Aspiras, Kulot Caponpon, Jaze Capili, Imogen Cantong, and Mini Miss U 2023 grand winner Kelsey Lasam as they reenact by pairs the most notable scenes from certain local and international movies in the initial round, which titles the hosts needed to guess. They then appear one-by-one on the stage in the second round as the winning tandem of hosts name the actor that they try to imitate.

Beginning this list is the cute impersonation of Argus of “Da King of Philippine Movies” Fernando Poe Jr and of Jaze’s impression of Eddie Garcia in the 1987 flick “Kapag Puno Na Ang Salop”.

Jaze then got paired with Kelsey in that same episode as they relived the iconic exchange of Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz in the 2007 box-office hit flick “One More Chance” as their characters Basha and Popoy. Remember the lines “…Ako na lang. Ako na lang ulit” and “She loved me at my worst, you had me at my best…”?
