“It’s Showtime” hosts celebrated their 2023 birthdays with grand prod numbers and heartwarming moments on stage

To smile and laugh and celebrate alongside the people dear to our hearts on special occasions like birthdays is one of the best gifts life can offer. That’s why the “It’s Showtime” family makes sure to come together in celebrating the birthdays of each member. The stage is often set with bright lights and the atmosphere charged with excitement as the show unfolds into a spectacle of grand birthday prod and heartfelt messages.

Here are the memorable birthday celebrations on the It’s Showtime stage in 2023!

Anne Curtis became a trending topic on social media for her hot and stunning birthday performance in the February 17 episode. The multi-hyphenate was oozing with glam and confidence as she sang a medley of Britney Spears’ greatest hits.

Living up to his ‘Unkabogable Star’ title, Vice Ganda had a jaw-dropping birthday production on It’s Showtime in the April 1 episode. He turned 47 year old in March 31. The comedian-host drew inspiration from his curated playlist of songs that define who he truly is, and gifted madlang people with an extravagant Magpasikat-like song-and-dance number that fused elaborate set designs and choreography.

In the August 11 episode, Jhong Hilario marked his birthday with a performance of Gary Valenciano’s “Di Bale Na Lang” and Hotdog’s “Annie Batungbakal,” plus his “It’s Showtime” family joining him for the disco classic “Sumayaw Sumunod” – nothing but all-out entertainment from the Sample King himself. But the highlight was when his baby daughter, Sarina Oceania, came to surprise him on that special day. It was Sarina’s debut appearance on the show that has become her dad’s second home.

Vhong Navarro was the first “It’s Showtime” member to mark his birthday in 2023. He turned 46 on January 4. Despite his absence from the show on his birthday due to personal battles, the camaraderie among co-hosts remained evident as they gave their heartfelt messages to Vhong. Though physically absent, his presence lingered through the well-wishes and support from his colleagues.

Love was truly in the air when Karylle celebrated her birthday with husband Yael Yuzon in the March 22 episode. She performed her song “Fine” and sang “Wake Up Next With You” with Yael, who wished to see his wife take on more theatrical shows as he said that theater keeps Karyllle rejuvenated as if she really belongs on a stage doing plays.

Our favorite oppa, Ryan Bang, also had a ‘pasabog’ birthday bash in the June 16 episode. He opened the performance with a bang, singing his own single “Abang Abang” then put a romantic ending to it by serenading the madlang people with “Just Once” together with OPM icon and Tawag Ng Tanghalan hurado Marco Sison.

Kim Chiu unleashed the inner K-Pop idol in her as she wowed the audience in a Blackpink-inspired pole dancing number, which was a first for her on national TV. The multi-talented Kapamilya beauty looked fierce in her special act aired on April 17, two days before her actual birthday.

As she turned a year older, but still more fabulous than ever, Amy Perez surprised madlang people with an energetic Michael Jackson-themed birthday production number with her son, Kyle, in the September 9 episode. Her younger son, Isaiah, was also present to celebrate with her on the show.

Jugs Jugueta turned his birthday prod into an OPM extravaganza with his band Itchyworms and Pinoy music icons APO Hiking Society in the January 21 episode.

Just a few weeks ago, December 4, Teddy Corpuz marked another birthday with his It’s Showtime co-hosts, who gave their touching messages for him.

Jackie Gonzaga’s birthday this 2023 was extra special as she was able to celebrate it with a special production number on the It’s Showtime” stage for the first time. She set the stage on fire with a hot and powerful production number in the October 31 episode.

Ion Perez took a break for his birthday, but in the November 27 episode, his co-hosts didn’t forget to share their greetings for him.

Cianne Dominguez, the ‘bunso’ of the group, also got to celebrate her birthday with the It’s Showtime gang last March, in which her newfound family jestingly sang a solemn version of the “Happy Birthday” song and delivered their heartwarming birthday messages for her.

Comedy duo MC and Lassy sure had unforgettable birthdays this year as they got to celebrate with the It’s Showtime” team and madlang people.
